1. Hotel Operator


Currently, Hippodrome Sopot is looking for business partners in the field of hotel operator on the Hippodrome’s premises.

 

Possible cooperation variants:

 

  • Proposed cooperation model: Hippodrome Sopot makes its premises available for the construction of a hotel, on the grounds of a long-term lease contract;
  • Expectations from the private partner: building a hotel of a specified standard, providing high quality services and payment of the rent for lease of premises;
  • Notice: owing to the exceptional nature of the location it is necessary to allow for the provisions of the local spatial development plan and guidelines by the Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments;
  • The Hippodrome and City of Sopot are open to suggestions regarding the rules of cooperation, including the contract period and the shape of the investment (within the limits of the local spatial development plan);
  • Possible option: the hotel operator’s taking over catering services at the Hippodrome – outside of the hotel (scale efficiencies, additional catering and conference surfaces, catering for large events …).

2. Horse Clinic Operator


Currently, Hippodrome Sopot is looking for business partners in the field of horse clinic operator at the Hippodrome’s premises. Possible cooperation variants:

 

Variant I

  • Proposed cooperation model: Hippodrome Sopot makes its premises available for the construction of a hospital, on the grounds of a long-term lease contract.
  • Expectations from the private partner: building a hospital – horse clinic of a specified standard, providing high quality services and payment of the rent for lease of premises.

 

Variant II

  • Proposed cooperation model: Hippodrome Sopot makes existing rooms available for décor for the purposes of a hospital, on the grounds of a medium-term lease contract.
  • Expectations from the private partner: fitting the rooms of the hospital – horse clinic and décor of rooms with a specified standard, providing high quality services and payment of the rent for space leasing.

 

Benefits for the potential horse clinic operator:


  • filling the existing market gap – opening the first horse clinic in northern Poland;
  • great market potential – there are over 14 thousand horses only in Pomorskie Voivodeship. Moreover – potential possibility of providing horse clinic services for clients from Scandinavian countries;
  • location of the horse clinic at the Hippodrome premises – one of three racetracks functioning in Poland;
  • presently at the Hippodrome there are nearly 220 horses needing medical treatment, and after completing the investment there will be about 300;
  • possibility of organising about 30 horse competitions and races annually, with a total of several hundred horses appearing.

  • Entrance onto the market of northern Poland, a prospective and rich market, which lacks competition.

 

3. Titular Sponsor

 

Currently, Hippodrome Sopot is looking for business partners in the field of titular sponsor for the entire facility. As part of the agreement titular sponsor obtains:

 

  • Rights to a two-part name of the facility with a time limit;
  • Possibility of placing advertisements of the company and its products on the facility’s premises;
  • Possibility of placing the facility’s logo in their own documents;
  • Possibility of using the VIP stand during important events;
  • A certain pool of free tickets for events organized at the Hippodrome;
  • Possibility of implementing their own ideas for mass events;
  • prestige in the horse riding circles.

 

The City of Sopot authorities are open to individual proposals regarding the packet of services for the Sponsor.

 

Benefits for the potential titular sponsor:


  • Brand presence during sporting events (also in the media) – the sponsor’s name (logo) will be visible during sporting and cultural events for spectators watching an event live and through the mass media;
  • Company image – the sponsor obtains an image of a stable and modern company, which takes active part in the life of the local community;
  • Motivating employees – the sponsor of the facility has the right to use the VIP stand at the premises and obtains a certain pool of tickets for each event to be used at their own discretion;

  • Booking tickets for events organized on the Hippodrome’s premises, including horse competitions and races;
  • Boarding house for horses belonging to hotel guests;
  • Surface rental for open-air events organized for hotel guests;
  • Advertising the hotel on the Hippodrome’s premises;
  • Sponsoring of sporting events, including horse races at the Hippodrome.

6. Hippotherapy

 

We would like to invite you to cooperate with Hippodrome Sopot in the field of hippotherapy. The Hippodrome and the City of Sopot are expecting offers for cooperation with regard to two areas:

 

  • Comprehensive management of the facility serving the purpose of hippotherapy, built within an investment project, co-funded out of EU funds – i.e. executing the function of operator;
  • Immediate conduct of hippotherapy using the above infrastructure, on the grounds of contracts for cooperation.

 

The expectations with regard to the future operator of the facility are as follows:

 

  • Submitting offers for management of the facility by an entity specialising in running hippotherapy and having experience in management;
  • Preferred formula: lease of the facility made available by Hipodrom Sp. z o.o. (period – up to 5 years);
  • The contract will specify the standards for maintaining the facility;
  • Desirable – obtaining the status of a patron centre under the Polish Hippotherapeutic Society;
  • Key responsibilities:
    • Managing (administering) the infrastructure;
    • Coordinating contacts with hippotherapists, users / recipients of hippotherapy services and institutions operating in that area (apart from the City – sector institutions and NGOs);
    • Desirable – educational initiatives.

 

Expectations from hippotherapists:

 

  • The basis for providing services would be a contract for cooperation (with natural persons or business entities);
  • The contract will specify the requirements regarding the quality of hippotherapeutic services;
  • We expect cooperation in the educational initiatives of the City, the Hippodrome and the operator of the hippotherapy facility;
  • The operator of the hippotherapy facility will be coordinating the operations by hippotherapists.

 

Why it is worth cooperating with the Hippodrome in the field of hippotherapy:


  • The Hippodrome are people who love horses and understand what hippotherapy is;
  • After completing the renewal project at the Hippodrome, a special space will be created for hippotherapy: the conditions of running hippotherapy will be comfortable;
  • The owner of the Hippodrome is the City of Sopot, who attach great significance to hippotherapy;
  • Both the City Authorities and the Hippodrome are interested in cooperation in programmes connected with hippotherapy and its promulgation.
